Located in building 115 near the hockey stadium, Curtin Security endeavours to keep Curtin a safe place for students and staff to work, study and play. Here's a few of the things we do to achieve that goal.
Security patrol
Our staff and students are protected by security staff, who patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff are always friendly and willing to assist at any time.
Courtesy bus
An evening courtesy bus is available on and around campus to help get you safely to your car or your on-campus accommodation after hours. The main service operates on weekdays during semester only. During weekends and non-semester times, the Security Escort Service can help you get from Curtin buildings to carparks and on-campus accommodation safely in the evening. Security escort service
Staff and students on the Bentley campus may call Security on 4444 from any Curtin phone or 9266 4444 from mobiles if they wish to be escorted to their car or to other parts of the campus by a Security Officer after the courtesy bus service finishes at 2:00am Monday to Thursday and 11:45pm on Fridays during semester.
In non-semester times security will escort staff and students from computer labs and buildings back to student housing and car parks. There may be a delay of 10-15 minutes before a Security Officer is available so please plan ahead.
