Our main campus supports a student and staff population the size of a small city. We provide all types of services to make life at university as convenient as possible, ensuring our students and staff get the most out of their time here.
The Learning Centre offers a variety of free programs designed to enhance the academic performance of students at all stages of their university studies. In addition to their academic programs, the centre also provides language support for students whose first language is not English. If you feel you can benefit from additional language support, specific language units are available.
The Curtin Business School Communication Skills Centre also provides a free support service for all students enrolled in Curtin Business School.
Curtin Housing Services provide housing services to students and staff, with nearly 1,200 places available for student accommodation on or near the Bentley campus and an extensive database of private accommodation options. You can also find accommodation through local real estate agents or websites.
The Curtin University Bookshop is run by the Co-op. It stocks a wide range of textbooks, stationery, newspapers, magazines, novels, cards, art material and computer equipment.
Bookends, the Guild’s Secondhand Bookshop, is located in the Guild Courtyard opposite Café @ Concept. It provides a textbook exchange service that enables you to sell your old textbooks and purchase cheap copies of next semester’s books. The store also carries a range of safety equipment – including lab coats and safety glasses.
The Curtin University Early Childhood Centre is a not-for-profit business on the Bentley campus, staffed by experienced, qualified carers. The centre offers a high number of places for children aged less than two years, in five nurseries. There are also two groups for two to three year old children and two groups for three to five-year-old children.
If you wish to take advantage of the service, you should register your child’s name on the centre’s waiting list as soon as you’re accepted for a Curtin course.
