Curtin University Library
An invaluable resource for more than just books.
The Curtin University Library combines online resources with a quality collection of print materials to support teaching, learning and research. Most electronic resources are available 24 hours a day. Friendly library staff can assist with all information needs. In addition to the Robertson Library at the Bentley campus, regional campus libraries also provide a broad range of learning facilities and services.
iZone
The newly-opened iZone on level 2 of the Robertson Library is a bold new space in which students can collaborate and use cutting-edge computer equipment. The facilities are intended to support student-centred learning and will adapt as emerging technologies evolve. Some features of the iZone are:
- A wireless area for laptop use with casual seating and built-in power outlets
- Graphics workstations with extra-large monitors and drawing tablets
- A presentation area with ceiling-mounted projector and wall-mounted LCD screens
- Bluetooth and webcam capability for exchange of data with iPods, PDAs and other mobile devices.
Off-campus services
Off-campus services, including free home delivery of books and videos, are available to students living outside the Perth metro area and the areas of Kalgoorlie and Northam. Click here for more information on the library's off-campus services.
Regional Curtin libraries
Our regional campus libraries also provide a broad range of learning facilities and services, including wireless Internet access and individual and group study areas. The Robertson Library catalogue is accessible from these libraries with books and audio-visual material sent out on request.
