Bentley (main campus)
The suburb of Bentley, located about six kilometres south-east of central Perth, is home to Curtin's main campus. In close proximity to everything Perth has to offer, it boasts 116 hectares of bold architecture nestled amongst beautiful landscaped gardens. With thousands of students filling the campus grounds every day of semester, there's a real vibrancy to the place.
Over the past decade the campus has undergone some major changes, with a variety of stunning modern buildings now interspersed with the original 1960s architecture.

Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie is an historic mining town in the goldfields region of Western Australia, about 600km east of Perth. The town was originally established in 1893 when gold was first discovered there, and today it remains an important centre for the state's booming resources industry. Just outside the town is the Superpit - the largest open-pit mine in the country.
Curtin's Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) is here, delivering courses in mining engineering, metallurgical engineering and more.

The fertile soils of Margaret River, about 280km south of Perth, make it one of the country's premier grape growing regions. Speckled with wineries and featuring sublime limestone caves and world-renowned surf breaks, it's also one of the state's most popular tourist regions.
Our campus here is part of a collaboration with South West Regional College of TAFE, Edith Cowan University, Margaret River Senior High School and the Department of Education and Training. Our Centre for Wine Excellence is located here, giving viticulture and oenology students access to leading vineyards and wineries to complement their theoretical studies.

Fremantle
The Curtin University Sustainability Policy (CUSP) Institute was
established in January 2008 and is headed by Professor Peter Newman, a renowned expert in the field. The idea of sustainability in a wide range of human
endeavour is a relatively new concept, but is rapidly becoming a key
issue in public policy theory and practice.
The institute welcomes PhD and master by research students, and offers postgraduate coursework degrees in sustainability studies from graduate certificate to master.

Sarawak, Malaysia
In 1999, the Sarawak State Government invited Curtin to establish a university in Miri, Sarawak on the north west coast of East Malaysia. This campus was the first foreign university campus to be set up on the island of Borneo; a reflection of our reputation for excellence in South-East Asia.
Miri boasts modern infrastructure, excellent hotels and restaurants, comprehensive local and international banking facilities, multi-storey shopping malls as well as traditional stores and simpler craft and produce markets selling local specialties. Originally an oil town, Miri is now more renowned for its natural attractions and is becoming increasingly popular as an adventure/ecotourism destination. Miri enjoys warm equatorial weather with plenty of sunshine all year round.
Every aspect of our Sarawak academic programs, including course materials and examinations, is identical to the courses offered in Perth.
