Aboriginal Reconciliation Action Plan

In 2008, Curtin was the first Australian teaching and research institution to develop and implement a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Reconciliation Australia’s formal endorsement of Curtin’s third RAP as an Elevate RAP supports our ambition to continue to lead national reconciliation action in the education sector.

Grounded in Truth: Walk Together with Courage

National Reconciliation Week 2020: In This Together.

The theme for #NRW2020, In This Together, encourages each of us to play a part in reconciliation. We can all contribute to building strong relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures. It will take the commitment and contribution of all of us for Australia to be truly united.

Uluru Statement from the Heart

Curtin is proud to support the profound Uluru Statement from the Heart – a critical step to formally embracing our shared history and walking together towards a better future for all Australians – one that is based on self-determination and justice.
